About our text messages
How our optional text-message program works. It applies only if you tick the text-message box on the form above.
- How you opt in
- On our quote request form, a visitor enters their mobile number and may tick a separate, optional text-message box. The box is unticked by default, is not required to submit the form, and is separate from the box agreeing to be contacted by phone or email. Customers can also agree by phone or in person, after our office reads them the same disclosures. A phone number given without ticking the text-message box is used only to call you about your request. It is never enrolled in text messages.

- Messages on behalf of any other business
- Messages to numbers bought, rented or taken from a lead list
- How often, and cost
- Message frequency varies — typically a few messages per job. Message and data rates may apply. We do not charge for texts; your mobile carrier may. Consent to text messages is not a condition of any purchase.
- How to stop
- Reply STOP (or END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, QUIT, STOPALL, REVOKE or OPTOUT) to any message to opt out. STOP ends all texts from us. You will receive one message confirming it, and no further texts. Reply START to opt back in. You can also opt out by calling (509) 953-1186 or emailing klong@ktecontractors.com.

- Reply HELP to any message for help. Or call (509) 953-1186 (Mon–Fri, 7:00am – 4:00pm) or email klong@ktecontractors.com. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Your number and privacy
- We share your mobile number only with our SMS platform provider (Twilio), solely to deliver the messages you asked for. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties or affiliates under any circumstances. For each opt-in we record the mobile number, the exact wording shown, the date and time, the page it was given on, the wording version and the IP address it came from.
